  1. I finished up the oven omelet from Christmas morning a couple days ago. It’s technically called a “stratta.” Bread, sausage, peppers, cheese, milk, eggs and spices all go together overnight, then baked in the morning. It’s a family Christmas tradition and makes great leftovers. I might have to make one for New Year’s!

  2. We’re sending the New Year with big bulky bagels, cream cheese, avocados, tomatoes, red onions, capers. Ahh. I don’t usually eat them but knowing it’s the final day of 2010, I’m up to it.
