Sutro Baths and Fort Funston

Here is what I did yesterday:

Yesterday was a good day.

Where do you go to get away from your everyday frustrations?

  1. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your photos. I’m trying to think where I go…we’ve lived on the east coast of FL for 2 years and I don’t think we have a place like that yet. A few local parks but no shade and that’s tough here. Sometimes we drive to the intercoastal areas and look at the water for a little while. When we lived on the west coast of FL we could walk to a little state park at the end of the road and walk shaded trails. I miss that. I’ll have to search out a similar spot here. Thanks for the reminder!

    1. I always feel at peace and just more content with life after I go out into nature. It’s something I never used to do, but now I love it. I especially love the beach. It’s so weird…but I’ve lived here all of my life and I’ve only started going to these places within the last couple of years. The most I had ever seen of Land’s End or the ruins of Sutro Baths was what could be seen from the window of a car!

  2. I think most of us are like that. But it’s good to be a tourist in your own backyard. And our backyards are particularly awesome!
